There is a man in a vilage a remote place of chin state. He was a priest of tribal religion or primitive religion of that village. One day in 1907, a missionary from a American Baptist Church came to that village and preached the gospel, the good news of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ who was incarnated through the power or Holy Spirit of God. A priest of that vilage got conversion, he belived and leaved all the priestly practices of darkness and turning to become a leader or priest of light. He was a Star of that vilage. Most of the vilagers came to him and persuaded him to be their priest but he denied and chose the path of sacrifying life, vilagers promised him to give everything whatever he asked if he remained to be their priest. Lastly they gave punishment of 25 scrourging with thorns of stick, he poured out his blood for the vilage the second blood to redeem that vilage. Later on year after year that vilagers were converting to Christian. Now they have celebrated Centenary of Xtianity in their vilage in 2007.Author : Bawi Uk Thang ( India )
